ORCKA Basic Canoeing: Level 3 by FARR-OUT ADVENTURES
Master advanced tandem skills and refine your precision on the water. Earn your provincial certification in a focused, half-day session.
Take your paddling beyond the fundamentals. This focused 4-hour course delivers the advanced technical maneuvers required for absolute boat control. Hosted in the calm, progressive waters of the Waterford Conservation Area, this program is designed for paddlers looking to transition from basic strokes to high-level execution and precision maneuvering.
Advanced Tandem Skill Development

The curriculum steps away from simple forward paddling to focus on sophisticated hull dynamics and subtle paddle placements. You will master side displacement (moving the boat sideways cleanly), precise pivots, and flawless dock landings under varying angles.
Our Heritage
Alongside practical on-water drills, the course explores canoe history and Canadian paddling heritage, ensuring you understand the context and design evolution of the craft you command.
