Booking & Cancellation: Fairness & Flexibility
We want your booking process to be as smooth as your paddle
Here is how we handle payments and changes to ensure fairness for our guests and our guides.
Securing Your Spot
To reserve your adventure, full payment is required at the time of booking.
- Large Groups: For invoices over $800, a 50% deposit secures your date, with the balance due before your trip begins.
When Plans Change
We understand that life happens. Here is how we handle adjustments:
Standard Cancellation Policy*
- 48+ Hours Notice: 100% Gift Certificate or Refund (less 10% processing fee).
- Less Than 48 Hours: Cancellations within this window are ineligible for refunds. A partial 75% credit may be issued for cancellations made with more than 24 hours notice. No-shows forfeit the full cost.
With Trip Protection*
- Up to 2 Hours Before Departure: Receive a 100% refund of your trip costs (minus the protection fee) for any reason.*
* Note: Third-Party Packages: If your trip includes meals or accommodations, the cancellation policies of those specific partners will apply.
Weather & Safety
We monitor the weather constantly so you don’t have to.
- If We Cancel: If conditions are unsafe (e.g., lightning, high winds, radar warnings), we reserve the right to cancel. In this case, we will happily reschedule you or issue a Gift Certificate for a future trip.
- If You Cancel: If you choose to cancel due to weather when we have deemed it safe to proceed, eligibility for a credit depends on compliance with our specific Weather Policy.
