2 Day/2 Night St. Jacobs Mennonite Country Cycling Experience
Go back in time with our Path Less Traveled trip, a one of a kind cycling/paddling experience. Experienced interpretive guides will lead you through St. Jacob's Mennonite country trails & back roads & down the Grand River, while you explore the history and culture of this fantastic area. This trip is a Ontario Signature Experience. One of only 50 packages are awarded this designation in the province.
Immerse yourself in the cultural history of the region as you cycle to various stops throughout Mennonite Country: a behind the scenes tour of the famous St. Jacob's Market, various craftsmen & artisans, and an Old Order Mennonite farm. Afterward explore St. Jacob's Village shops, and celebrate your day of cycling at Block 3 Brewery, sampling locally crafted beer.
As you move on to the water, your experienced guides will narrate the region's natural history. Your second day is relaxing paddle in canoe or kayak from Elora Gorge Conservation Area to the historic West Montrose Covered Bridge, the last functioning covered bridge in Ontario.
