Glen Morris to Paris on May 5th

We have a booking for some special guests on May 5, 2026. This is your opportunity to get on the water for some early season paddling mid-week when the river is at its quietest.

The Carolinian forest is just beginning to wake up, and the Classic run from Glen Morris to Paris is at its peak. If this sounds like your thing, we have 8 spots currently open to join the group.

This 11km journey takes you through the heart of the Carolinian Canyon. With the spring canopy still thin, it is the best time of year to spot nesting Bald Eagles and explore the hidden freshwater springs that line the high banks.

You will navigate the river’s swifts with a certified guide who handles the shuttle and gear, ensuring you can focus entirely on the water. By the time you land at Penman’s Dam, you’ll have experienced the Grand at its most remote and vibrant.
