The 2026 paddling season is fast approaching, and Grand Experiences is officially building our core team. From May to October, we put thousands of people on the water for canoeing, kayaking, and river tubing adventures on the Grand River, Nith River, and Big Creek. To make that happen, we need a crew that loves the outdoors, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants a summer job that actually feels like an adventure.
Whether you are looking for a remote logistical challenge, wanting to teach kids on the water, or eager to be the physical engine moving our fleet, we have a spot for you at our Paris or Kitchener (Bingemans) hubs.
The Open Roles
- Trip Coordinator (Remote / Hybrid): Are you a master of logistics? We need an “air traffic controller” to manage bookings, coordinate shuttle schedules, and run our social media. (Perfect for Co-op students!)
- Grand Canoe Camp Guide (Kitchener): Spend your Monday through Friday on the water teaching the next generation of paddlers at our Bingemans location. No weekend shifts!
- River Logistics & Shuttle Driver (Paris): The physical engine of our operation. If you have a G-class license, know how to back up a trailer under pressure, and enjoy an active workday, we need you behind the wheel.
- Dock Hand & River Support (Paris): The ultimate weekend pit crew. You’ll be at the launch sites keeping boats clean, fitting lifejackets, and ensuring guests get on the water safely and on time.
