Your guide will share insights into the rare Carolinian Forest, local wildlife, and the rich history of the Grand River. Along the way, you’ll navigate gentle bends, mild swifts, and learn paddling techniques to make the most of your day on the water. Watch for osprey, herons, beavers, and muskrats, and hear the stories of this Canadian Heritage River, from First Nations traditions to early settlers’ voyages.

As you approach Paris, the current quickens, carrying you toward a riverside town steeped in charm and culture.

What to Bring

  • Water shoes, sandals with straps, or old running shoes are ideal
