Book online now!Don’t just float past the history. The Grand River is full of secrets you might miss on your own. Our Paddle Canada Certified guides handle the navigation and safety, unlocking the hidden stories of the landscape. Relax, improve your skills, and let a local expert lead the way.
Your Guided Journey Downstream
Launch into History We shuttle you from the finish line to our 150-year-old outfitters shop in Paris. Your guide will get you fitted comfortably in your boat and provide a quick on-water lesson. As you paddle under the historic bridges of Paris, your guide will point out the unique cobblestone architecture that makes this town famous.
Discover the “Hidden” River As the town fades away, you enter the Carolinian Forest. This is where having a guide pays off. They know where the Great Blue Herons nest, where the freshwater springs bubble up, and where to spot the bald eagles.
Relaxed & Safe This is a gentle section of the river, but our guides are there to help you navigate the “swifts” (small splashes) with confidence. By the time you land at Brant Park, you’ll have improved your skills and learned the story of the landscape.
