Payment & Cancellation Policy

At Grand Experiences, we want booking your adventure to be simple and worry-free.

Payments

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking.
  • For larger bookings of $800 or more, you can secure your trip with a 50% deposit and pay the balance before your adventure begins.

Cancellations

We understand plans can change. Here’s how our cancellation policy works:

  • 48+ hours before your trip: Choose a full-value gift card (no expiry) or a refund minus a 6% processing fee.
  • Less than 48 hours before your trip: Choose a gift card or a refund minus 25%.
  • No-shows: Sorry, we can’t offer refunds or credits if you don’t show up.

Please note: Trips that include third-party meals or accommodations may have different cancellation rules set by the suppliers.

Weather Flexibility

Safety always comes first. We may postpone or reschedule trips if:

  • Winds exceed 35 km/h
  • Radar shows extreme weather
  • Lightning or thunder is present (we wait 15 minutes before launching again)

If we cancel due to unsafe weather, you’ll receive a gift card credit or the option to reschedule.
If you’re unsure about the forecast, give us a call—we use professional radar to confirm safe paddling conditions.
