Lazy River Tubing: The Bingemans Loop
The ultimate summer chill. Drift down the Grand River without lifting a finger.
Zero effort. 100% fun. Forget paddling. Forget steering. This trip is about kicking back and letting the river do the work. Perfect for hot summer days, this 2-hour float takes you through the heart of the Grand River’s green belt. Whether you’re with a group of friends, the family, or just looking to cool off, there is no better way to beat the heat.
Have fun, soak up the sun
We don’t use flimsy pool floaties. We set you up with professional-grade tubes, made right here in Canada, that are comfortable, stable, and designed for the river. They have backrests (so you can actually relax) and rugged bottoms that glide over shallow spots.
A Hidden Green Belt Even though you are close to the city, the river feels miles away. You’ll drift past forested banks, spot turtles sunning on logs, and maybe even see a Great Blue Heron fishing in the shallows. It’s a peaceful, natural escape right in Kitchener’s backyard.
Splash & Laugh The current here is gentle, but there are enough little riffles to keep things interesting. Connect your tubes with friends (bring some rope or ask us for clips if available!) or drift solo and soak up the sun.
The Tubing Plan
Park at the finish. We shuttle you to the start.
- Park at Bingemans: Meet us at the Grand Experiences Pavilion inside Bingemans Park (beside the Embassy Room). Your car stays here.
- Shuttle Upstream: Hop in our shuttle for a short ride upriver to the launch point.
- Launch & Float: We help you get into your tube and into the current. Then, you just drift.
- Land at Bingemans: The trip ends right back at Bingemans. Hop out, dry off, and you’re done! (Or head over to the waterpark/mini-golf since you’re already there).
