The entire Journeys of Discovery consists of a Training Daytrip, Practice Overnight Trip & the 4 day/ 3 night multi-day Journey and is listed as a full Trip package under Youth trips. The Training Daytrip, Practice Overnight Trip and are all listed separately under Youth trips.

Oneida Run - Youth Guided - Group

4 hour guided adventure for non-profit youth groups. Oneida run is a popular route. Mainly calm water with some low-key rapids that add fun & excitement, with paddling through scenic woodland, makes this a great trip for paddlers. With expert guides on hand to help develop skills, it's great for beginners too.

Canoeing Basic Skills Certification - Instructional

The aim of this course is to introduce novice participants to paddling with a partner, in calm waters. Rescue options are discussed at this level & can be demonstrated by the instructor.

The aim is to introduce the novice paddler to paddling with a partner in shelter calm waters, and to introduce basic land and water rescue techniques.

Waterfront Canoe Skills Certification - Instructional

This waterfront program introduces the beginner to paddling with a partner in calm waters in a designated area. The skills and knowledge gained at this level form the foundation necessary for confident and safe travel within small and calm environments.

Lake Canoe Skills Solo Introduction - Instructional

The aim is to introduce the novice paddler to paddling on shelter calm waters and to introduce basic land and water rescue techniques.

Lake Canoe Skills Tandem Intermediate - Instructional

The aim is to expand upon the skills and principles necessary to paddle with a partner in open lake waters, to perform skills and maneuvers with greater refinement and demonstrate confidence in an open water environment, and to develop a greater awareness of environmental hazards and how to avoid/react to those hazards.
