Passing historic Mudge Hollow the Lower Nith enters the Grand River Valley & its elevation drop increases to exciting 20 ft/mile. But instead ofrock-strewn rapids likenorthern Canadian Shield rivers, the Nith's a gravel basedSouthern river with few rock hazards. Its rapids are just from elevation drop & great fun. Ideal place to learn & enjoy whitewater.
